An ardent devotee of Lord VENKATESWARA of Titupati ,Annamachrya successfully composed 32,000 Keertanas(a carnatic music compositions) which are very easy to understand and sing.
Annamacharya considered his compositions as floral offerings to God.In the poems he praises the Lord,describes his love for Alamelumanga and Lord venkateswara,argues and quarrels with lord,confesses the devotees failure and apprehensions and surrenders himself to Lord Venkateswara.
The Devine works of Annamacharya:
Sankeertanas in the form of Parama-Mantras,mostly in Telugu,few in Sanskrit.Mainly devided into 3 catogaries.
Yoga marga,Sringara rasa and Vairagya rasa.A total of 32,000 of such supreme devotional outpours.
He wrote the entire Ramayana in the form of a poem called Dwipada Ramayana.
Glories of the Venkatachala Hill written in Sanskrit.Also made sringara manjari,Satakas,and Prabhandams in other languages.

]]>Fri, 16 May 2008 13:01:44 +0530http://01964.rediffiland.com/blogs/2008/05/16/ANNAMACHARYA-1.htmlSummer vacations have started.we came to Hyderabad after a long gap.we were so happy to land in new airport.all my friends felt so happy to see me.the city is as usual beautiful and with so many new malls,flyovers,it looks more beautiful.I went to my friend's house and on the way i have to pass thru a BPO.I noticed that so many workers of that call centre in the scorching sunlight standing out side and smoking.In one hand there is a cup of tea and another hand a cigarrette.And the faces of all the girls and boys look so tired and exhausted.I don't know whether to feel pity for them for losing their charm and glow on their faces at the age of 20s or whether they enjoy working in BPOs.they work throughout the night and when we are going in the morning for morning walk all the girls and guys with tired faces will be returning home.
MCH people have cut huge banian trees for road widening,and this young people are cutting their branches of joy for the sake of their jobs.
Dear young Indians don't lose your health.you are the strong pillars of our Nation.Enjoy your work don't come under work pressure. Be happy.

another daughter gave shelter to her widowed mother in her house and looted everything from the mother including her monthly pension....
there are so many incidents like this.but Hats of to a son who like sravana kumar took his 90 year old father and 80 year old mother on his shoulders to teerth yatra.i really bow my head with respect to that son.this news clipping has been shown in NDTV news channel.
now a days children are settling down in far away countries forgetting about their parents dedication and hardwork behind their success don't even bother to take care of parents in their old age.
in good olden days when we were kids our dad used to get annual leave LTA to visit his home town.that way we used to go to our grand parents house and we used to have fun meeting all our cousins and daily it was a festive atmosphere in our grand parents house.we used to wait for summer holidays to meet our relatives and friend in the village.
but now a days parents don't have time to take their kids to grand parent's house and for vacation people will plan to go to places where they can enjoy with their family only, spending lot of money.people have become selfish.why dont u go and spend with ur parents atleast for ten days in an year?is that possible?if yes please take leave stop ur kids from going to summer camps and visit ur MOTHER AND FATHER.they will be very happy to see u.
This month 11th people all over the world celebrate MOTHER'S DAY.people send greeting cards thru internet,gifts with somebody else.but all ur mother wants is ur presence.Atleast let the Mother enjoy 10 days in a year calling it as Mother's Days....
I felt like sharing my feelings with all my ilander friends.if at all I hurt somebody's feelings please forgive me.There is no intention to hurt anybody.What i felt like sharing with my true friends i am expressing thats all.thak u..

So the way out of humiliation is to get humiliated,be childlike,be crazy,get steeped in love with Divine,and be totally committed to truth,to knowledge.
